    Xi inspects northeast China's Jinzhou City

    SHENYANG, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) — Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, inspected Jinzhou City in northeast China‘s Liaoning Province on Tuesday. Liaoshen Campaign Memorial and Forest Park in Jinzhou, looking back at the history of the liberation of northeast China and the Liaoshen Campaign, one of the major campaigns of the liberation war more of seven decades.

    He was also briefed on the province’s efforts in flood control and ecological restoration and conservation, and gave instructions on how to improve flood control work and to strengthen the capacity to prevent natural disasters.
